I have a rupture of eardrum too...if it wont heal itself in one week i will go to the surgery...i dont want to :(

@jamesgd7 they went in trough my ear canal but they cut down the front of your ear! According to my latest hearing test my hearing has improved but im still suffering from tinitus. I find that i say pardon/what less ofter now which is a mega bonus for me and the people i talk to! I still really struggle to hear in noisy enviroments. I can be sitting in my car with the radio on low and still struggle ot hear what someone says. Would say op was defo worth it though!

I had this surgery wen i was 11, im now 26. my scar though runs round the front of my ear too which seems to have changed so u cant tell as much. Havent had many problems since, my hearing isnt 100% and ive got bad tinitus but it was better than living with bad hearing, dizzyness and constant infections

My eardrum has burst on my winter break from school, it is not to the point of complications like this, but I was investigating around the internet. Thank you for posting this video and for all the others with complications I hope you heal and feel better soon. Even though I have a mild case now, it is still very painful so I can understand some of what you are going through. My empathy to you all.
