Not my Name 60:

Emily's POV:
It was black.
Its been black for a while.
Where was I?
I couldn't see anything.
Suddenly the lights were dim; I saw him.
He was in front of me.
his dark brown curly hair, his chocolate brown eyes.
Or was he? I couldn't bring myself to touch him.
I couldn't move.
Suddenly he gave me a smile that made me want to melt, and turned and started to walk away.
"no wait, don't go" I said, but he wouldn't turn around. He kept walking.
Why wouldn't he listen to me?
Oh right- he didn't love me.
Well I didn't love him either!
Suddenly there was fire everywhere. It was hot blazing hot, but I didn't care.
I hoped he would burn.
Suddenly he turned around from the distance he had walked away, but he was in front of me again.
"she's got a fever, she's burning up!" he screamed into my face.
"good!" I said, hoping he was hurting from the fire.
"she's talking!" he screamed in my face again.
"hun, hun, you awake?" I heard him say, but he changed his voice.
a voice like a woman's.
"what?" I said, and suddenly I felt my eyes shoot open.
Where WAS I?
I started to scream.

Nick's POV:
I could see the lady at the desk looking up to check on me through the glass wall separating us.
me still sitting in the waiting room.
God, I was tired of waiting.
I needed to see her.
I pulled in a huge breath, then let it out slowly.
I stood up and walked out of the waiting room and up the desk.
"you still can't go up" the receptionist said to me without looking up and was flipping through some papers.
I grid my teeth and shut my eyes to keep back the urge to slap her.
"I just need to know where the bathroom is" I said in the most calm voice I could bring up.
She looked up at me and after a second she pointed around the corner.
I gave her a nod and walked around the corner.
YES. ELEVATORS!
I looked left and right to make sure no one was looking then clicked the 'UP' button.
A second later the elevator 'dinged' open and I stepped into the empty slot.
Here I go. Room 2530 here I come.
As I hit floor 2, the doors swished open and I stepped out into the empty hallway. I turned left and began to walk, suddenly I saw a door, '2526'
'2527'
'2528'
'2529'
'2530'
as I stepped up to the door I suddenly heard a brain numbing, soul wrenching scream that penetrated my skull.
Oh God.
