Once you learn about Ron Paul you will see he is not in this race for the power.
He is controlled by The Constitution of the United States not the special interest groups.
Every presidential candidate running on both sides of the ticket are being given massive amounts of money by special interest groups. They are all controlled by special interest groups, except for Ron Paul.
He is in it for you and I. I am doubling my donations to Ron Paul right now.

I urge you to double your per month donations from what they were during the second quarter (April - June). The second quarter results saw Paul quadrupling his money! That put him ahead of McCain in cash on hand. If everyone doubles their per month donations this time and some new people donate, maybe we can quadruple it again come October. That would put Ron Paul in the 8 figure range (10s of millions), force the media to pay SOME attention to him, and give him some fuel for running TV adds.
