I've wanted to play this song since the first time I heard it on the Gently Weeps CD. In order to pull it off I had to alter the voicings of the main chords a bit by opening the G string. Playing it while fretting the A note on the G string caused quite a bit of pain in the wrist which kept me from playing the song all this time. I finally realized I would have to change the chords in order to play. Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.

Thanks to Jake for his music and inspiration.

  • please send me some tabs for this please!!!!!

  • Wow nice job! I've been trying for a while now to decode this song. Your site looks like it used to have a version of it but it was taken down. Why is that?

  • itsrainingfruit: No hard feelings. I appreciate you writing back. I don't play a ukulele, but after watching this video, I'd like to give it a try. This guy plays a ukulele better than some people play a guitar. Thanks for the offer.

  • Sorry and i had no intention to accuse you of lying. What I meant was, whoever told you that was wrong, i used the term 'lie' loosely. I have a bunch of ukulele chordbooks sitting next to me. You said long ago, so its very possible that there really weren't any books around a few years ago. No hard feelings? Message me if you need help finding a book, I'd love to help
