Amerikan Anime

My fourth amv. I made this as kind of a joke about how american cartoons seem to be copping anime while at the same time american culture is spreading across the world. The song is Amerika (not a typo, that's what the song is called) by Rammstein, and the clips come from Inuyasha, DBZ, Pokemon, Naruto, Invader Zim, and Teen Titans. I do not own the music or any of the footage. If it bugs you that much, how about talking it over instead of kicking me off with no warning? Just a thought.

Well one thing for sure the big eyes in anime were something that the Japanese borrowed from Americans. When America occupied Japan during the WW2 times they brought over Betty Boop and many Disney cartoons to Japan. Later on Osamu Tezuka, influenced by big eyed American cartoon characters, created Astro Boy and other anime characters with huge eyes. Then other anime artists caught on with this trend.
