@Canditasenorita not only was there the eye/hearing witness who herself was a former cop and heard the ethnic slurs.. But one of the boys himself admitted that he said ethnic slurs towards the victim.

How the hell is this not a "racial crime?"!! There was a eye witness to an explicit hateful comment referring to the race of Ramirez... Who gives a crap if he was illegal? Man, this is just like when blacks were lynched back in the 30s,40s...an all white jury would find the men not guilty. African Americans have come a long way but this is horrible. True. There will now be a federal civil rights court case against these men who were acquitted of murder by state courts.
The forefathers of men like these got away with so much murder of African peoples and now think they can escape by murdering immigrants, whether documented immigrants or undocumented.
