There are two names for that move. In the original Advent Children, it's Omnislash 5. In Advent Children Complete, it's Omnislash 6.

if anything Yuri's mystic arte is an omnislash rip-off Hell you could say its a rip off of Tidus' slice'n dice overdrive from FF 10

Not really, the original omnislash didn't include cloud switching weapons, that wasn't until; advent children, and that wasn't even necessarily omnislash, it was an un-named move.

synthesize the moon selector item and then when ur in battle u press Y and then start to switch ppl

You just need to keep sleeping at the inn on Dhangrest to get, you need to see multiple scenes to get it and the chance your going to see the scene is like 1/3, so keep sleeping there till you get it

go to heliord and talk to the little kid to get the special skill for repede. I already unlocked the final boss' dungeon and I got it after that, so there's no time limit

I've completed the sidequest to get the skill Special and I have Overlimit Lvl. 4 and I still can't get this move to work. I'm even holding B (default) after an arcane arte. Does it only work with a certian weapon?

No weapon is required. However, I always active my MA's after a burst arte, so try doing that and see if it works then.

It's still not working for me and I don't know why. I can't use Repede's and Judith's Mystic Arte either and I have the skill special for them too. I don't know what to do... :(

Are you activing Overlimit at lvl 3 or 4? If you do it lvls 1 and 2, they won't do the MA.

I activing Overlimit lvl 3. I finally got Judith's to work because I equiped a weapon that had the skill Special. But I don't have a weapon with Special for Karol and Repede. I have the skill for both of them, but it desn't seem to work every time I try to use an Arcane or Burst arte. Do I need a weapon equiped with Special for them?

No, You just need to epuip the skill "Special."
