This is an amazing tool for a homeowner. As you can see from the video, I am not all that young. So, for me, the instant start is a great asset. I also love not having to mix gas and oil. I can never remember the proper ratio.
The air flow is plenty powerful enough to blow leaves and debris off the driveway and lawn.
I really gave it a workout when the fall leaves had covered my back yard (even though in the video, I mentioned that there were not that many leaves in my yard... this year it was very different).
I have had this little gem for about 6 months as of this writing, and it continues to do what it's supposed to do. What more can a guy ask from a leaf blower?

  • Good video, but I disagree.. It takes all of 2 sec to pour the correct amount of 2 stroke oil in a gas can personally I don't see the hassle?!? I don't like the weight as well as less CFM's that 4 stroke blowers use. 4 stroke engines are NOT made to be ran at really high RPM's for long periods of time.. To many disadvantages!!!!

  • @outpowspo Thanks for your input. After over a year with this blower, it still starts the first or second time and it seems like there is no gunky buildup around the engine like there is on my 2-stroke trimmer. So, I am still a believer.

  • I bought this last week.. as mentioned starts first pul every time.. very quiet and excellent blower...definitely recommend

  • @prakashkashyap Thanks for the comment. I was just thinking about making a follow-up video to this one because it has been a year...I am still as happy as I can be with my, now year old, Makita 4-cycle leaf blower.

  • I understand, Many people have the perception that a 4 stroke is always better, when I believe that only in some cases it is. Makita or Dolmar which makes that blower has got a good design and if it works for you that is what matters for me. Good review.
