Some of the shool girls in the school hallway scene were taken from my private school, some from my class.
I remember when we heard that Madonna had come by to get some girls to appear in her video (might have been her representative though, but we wouldn't have thought that).
I wonder if they come on Youtube and watch themselves?

The controversy was completely unfounded, BTW. The right wing idiots who threatened a boycott of Pepsi threatened the boycott because the purpose of the original Like a Prayer video went right over their heads: LaP the Music Video had to do with racism and the "right thing to do" against it (black guy being accused of a crime he didn't commit); but the right wing is so damned stupid that it just looked at the religious elements to the video and had a sh*tfit.

its quite funny when TOTP showed this video they mixed the video with the commercial and it's strange seeing bits that were in the video

I remember being an 11 year old kid when this commercial and song came out. I remember the build up from previews and MTV news and just waiting and being so excited for a 2 minute event. She just had a way with putting you under her spell with everything she did, including a commercial for soda. Thats why she's the queen.

I remember this was such a big deal. When it finally aired people couldn't wait to see it again - I think this was the first time people were actually excited to see a commercial! When you look back, it's funny how Madonna made a simple TV commercial into controversial. I guess it's how she did it, always had it, always will - I guess.
