The quail had a dust bath party in my backyard this afternoon. The soil is perfect, nice and powdery, just right for a good roll. Seems like everyone had a good time.

  • Sorry. I don't have any tips.

  • ide love to live that close to a covey of quail. the best quail hunting where i live is about 1.5 hours away =( . youre very lucky to have that many in a covey.

hope to see more next year!

  • This is a no hunting zone, although a neighborhood cat has taken to hanging around.

  • @Parkjisung91 The quail do not lay their eggs in my yard and good thing they don't. The neighborhood cats kill every baby they can get their claws on. Sadly, that is most of the babies that new parents bring to my place. It's heartbreaking. The cats also kill the adults, or at least they try. I like cats but they devastate bird populations and other vulnerable wildlife for about a three mile radius around where they live.

  • @thefoodhole what happens to the egg? do uhave to personate incubate them?

  • its a covey of Quails

  • I have quail in my yard too, and the first time I saw them do that I just laughed. I posted a short video of them scratching in the snow for seeds. Look under "quail in bridgeport." It's funny to watch them scratching in the snow!

  • @themonkeyboyz97 *put*

  • @claybone22 but bird food the one that says year long, they attract quails, birds, rabbits, and maybe chipmunks

  • @claybone22 plant big trees and low shrubs for them to hide... and start letting insects go mad... especially locusts :p

  • QUAILS ARE SO AWESOME
