スマイライフ (SMILIFE) by ステレオポニ (STEREOPONY) guitar cover

This is my cover of their song. I know it's not 100% correct but it's really fun and easy to play. I love the music video *heart *heart and it's so much fun and full of energy. That's why I played the song standing up LOL

The song isn't really as "simple" as it seems. The chord progression plays around the key of E but in the pre-chorus it shifts to A to put in the D chord (that's why I put an asterisk D*). I think A major scale is closer to E than the D major scale. In the bridge it shifts to key of G (I think) to put the C - D - Em progression. It's really rare that I stumble upon a song that shifts keys often (lol)

In the video I used a simple overdrive from my behringer amp modeler and an equalizer pedal from boston engineering. This is to boost the palm mute sensitivity and presence during the solo parts. I really couldn't get a good overdrive sound from my zoom G1 (unless it's attached to a real amp)
