I'm very proud of the French Air force!! I love France!! I live in the U.S. tho and very proud of America as well. My great, great, great, grandparents immigrated to the U.S.

I'm just a Infantry man. So I get a kick out of all of these folks argueing over which country is best. As far as Air Forces go I still think its all about how good the Pilots are. And how well they use the pluses and minimize the faults of their aircraft. In my tours of Afghanistan the French pilots were awesome! They attacked targets that american, british, and dutch pilots said were too dangerous. As a grunt "steel on target" is all you can ask for. My salute to the French Air force

and please look for exact information about how the nuclear technolgie had entred france, to let your country able for submarine and rocket nuclear capabilities..advertising brochure from a expo in the states who was se lled for one usd ;-) cause the french engeneers wasn't able to come forward in it...and logical that germany the biggest industrial and economical country in europe if they knows 2 build better trains and autobahns cars mercedes porsche and many tech. do not know build a missile?

@lavioneur please don't let me laugh, cause if you turn back to history, you will be surprised about the rocket and all the german technolgies stolen by the confederates allies,like v1 v2 and more,the versaille contract vs germany to not build super power military capacities and no nuclear weapons and they had exists at the 40's long time before the french understood what do the word nuclear means..in northen germany near denmark there some older test area for nuclar weapons 1941-43's

As far as I'm concerned, French Air Force is undoubdtedly one of the best over the world. I'm not able to compare two Air Forces given that the only one I know is the French one. However, I'm deeply interested in aviation and thus I dedicate my spare time in reading magazines and watching videos dealing with and the knowledge I got then permits me to assert that it is very efficient.

@MagnetiQs 100% better ? germany : no aircraft carrier, no nuclear powered aircraft carrier, no nuke, no spy satelitte detection system, don't have its own spy satelitte, don't know how to build a missile on its own, don't know how to build a lot of weaponry that french and uk build since decade...they relied on US for decade and now they try to return on cutting edges weaponry tks to EADS...
