Mixing hCG for desired dose - simplified.

I am soooo confused. My doctor gave me 5000 IU , the RX said to add 4ML of bacteriostatic water and i am supposed to inject .10 ml a day.... is this wrong?

@WTFDudeTV No - that works - 125 IU in 0.1cc (10 units) - the top diluent/dose for the 5000 is 8ml diluent, 0.2cc - you're using half as much diluent and taking half the dose - that still equals 125 IU. (somewhat personal preference but using slightly higher dilution is easier to accurately adjust dose if needed for hunger)

Why do you add 5ml of water for total of 10 ml instead of just keeping it at 5 ml and reducing the dosage to half? I have been mixing my 5000 with 5 ml and taking 15 units for a 150 unit dosage. I am confused, I think, lol. Am I doing it wrong? Help.

@miket1m The way you're doing it is fine - I prefer the 5K in 10ml for a number of reasons, it's easier to accurately adjust dose 25 IU at a time on big hash marks (rather than mid points with the 5K in 5ml) and also - I work with people from several countries, many can't find the 0.3cc or 0.5cc syringes and have to use either 1, 3 or 5cc syringes for dosing as well as mixing... for them a higher dilution is pretty much a necessity for any amount of dose accuracy.

Not user friendly mix instructions - you'd need 68.75 units for 125 IU, 96.25 units for 175 IU.

For future reference - just add 10ml to a 5000 -

For 125 IU - take 25 units.

For 150 IU - take 30 units.

For 175 IU - take 35 units.

For 200 IU - take 40 units.

thank you .this is my first time doing it on my own without dr pre measuring I was paying $300 for first rd  two rds plus co pays and $200 for second rd.I am about thirty or so from goal so I am doing this rd own my own. the math was confusing me thank you for info

@100fabiomio If you check hcgprotocol com - I have the most notable possible side effects listed on the overview page (gallbladder and gout are mentioned by Dr Simeons in Pounds & Inches, you should read through that as well) Very few have either, less than 1 in 1,000 by my numbers, gout has only occurred in people with a prior history, and if you add a small amount of fats (MCT oil, the chocolate delight or mac nuts) every 3-4 days it should greatly reduce the chance of gallstones forming.

@100fabiomio I'd say what I've been saying - doctors are CROOKS. Enough hCG for up to 40 doses @ 125 IU runs about $42 from alldaychemist com . Hope at that price they at least warned you of possible gall bladder or gouty arthritis issues - a nasty clinic in TX is charging $1000 and not legally providing informed consent. Good luck.

What would you say if I tell you that here I started my treatment a week ago in a weight loss clinic here in PR and they charge me $100 of the reconstituted hcg solution of hcg for 7 syringes filled up between 10-20 (in the middle) of a 1cc syringe? I assume that they are giving me less that 125 IU's? Today I'm learning by my own how to get my own hcg...what would you recommend ?

How much money are they making out of this??!! If I need a 4wk supply?? OMG.

@cocopuff541 yeah, half way between 15 & 20 units - I usually have people double dose on load days (250 IU) just to get their hCG up to therapeutic level, seems to make the 1st few days of VLCD a little more tolerable. Don't think a one time 500 IU dose will do any damage. You're welcome.
