trisomy 18 and living {kayden}

kayden is 8 years old and has trisomy 18. Im so happy to share with you these photos of kayden enjoying life.he is nothing like they said he would be. kayden signs mom and dad and will say mom. he does have a feeding tube and a wheelchair. he is so full of life and happy all the time. We thank god every day for kayden and giving us the chance to be his parents. we have never treated him any difernt as you can tell by the photos kayden goes everywhere and is always included.

this is kaydens mom. I just want to let anyone here that is looking at this and has questions about kaydens journey to please feel free to ask. Kayden is so incrediable and we love him in our lives. I love any chance i have to help educate others on trisomy 18.

@samspumpkin it is hard to deal, i know he is somewhere better than here where he is healthy - I couldn't imagine him anywhere but in a place of peace

im sorry for both of ya'lls loses. i think it can be so hard dealing with all the emotions bc its not easy knowing the baby can leave ya'll soon. im glad you see him as a miracle. for him to help her realized that before it was too late for her. i hope you have peace in your heart and know that hes in a better place. a place where he is perfect. <3

@samspumpkin My brother died at 26 wks gestation - just feeling him move and stretch was my mum's reward. He liked music - he squirmed and kicked when my mum sang lullabies for my sister. She wouldn't have it any other way - he was sent here by god and fulfilled his purpose sooner than anyone imagined he would. He saved my mum's life - she had kidney issues not discovered till all the tests to see if he had a chance, she would have died if not for him. He was a miracle.

Such a cute little boy!!! My sister just had a son (Emerson) this summer that has Trisomy 18. He's 4 months this week.

nooo...how God makes miracles. Some of these babies don't make it in this world for longer then a couple or few hours. And for these families to have the pleasure of having their kids this long, is a gift.
