Turisas should be hired by Nintendo to make the soundtracks for the Fire Emblem series.

So many rascist bastards here. Why can't we al just get along, forget the past, look to the future with a positive and open mind and enjoy this awesome song together?

I agree completely. Metal is about respecting and accepting each individual for who they are, no matter were they come from, how they look like and what they believe. Metal is for everyone. I'm also very sure that Turisas has no rascist intentions with their music, they are just interested in this part of history that they often sing about.

They talk about many things, and their style isn't clearly defined, but it has influences of viking/folk/epic metal. In this song, they're talking about the Varangians, which was the name given by the Bizantine Empire to Vikings.

So yeah, Turisas has a clear influence on vikings, but they're not their only influence though.

Turisas reminds me of vikings. Were they a viking band? I have no idea.
