Original text follows, but the results are in now (check out the video). Suffice it to say that the "trooper" lied on the stand! He has no respect for himself or for his uniform. But then... we was caught in that lie! The PA wet himself knowing he would lose, and offer me a deal.
Still, what happened in court was un-American. Even the bible states: "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor."

This guy is gonna burn in hell!

This is what I wrote originally:

You are the jury in this case!

Hello everyone. I know the quality of this video is poor, but I did not create it. This video is actual evidence that came from a state trooper's car, showing me getting pulled over for speeding on the evening of Thanksgiving 2006. The video shows, after watching carefully, a second car (in this case a so-called smoking gun or grassy knoll) which was speeding over 90 MPH and almost hit me! I realize that I play the same part over and over again, forward and back, because the key evidence is present only for a second. The question is: Can you, the video viewer, see the dot moving forward (and reverse when I play backwards) and get this this is in fact a second car?
I'm posting the video here, with my story. I hope to see, in the court of the internet, if you would you find me guilty based on the evidence and my statement. Or should I plead guilty because I don't have a chance?
The officer gave me a ticket becase he said he paced my car...he never got a chance to use radar. he laso pased the speeding vehicle (a white car) from a local lane, I was across a divider in the express lane.
The reality is, as I've been told my by laywer, that it doesn't matter if I'm guilty or the evidence can't prove me guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Unless I can prove myself innocent beyond ANY doubt, I'm guilty because the police officer says so! What country are we in? Are local municipalities in such trouble that they have to intimidate and prey on drivers like myself to pay huge fines and huge fees to local lawyers? Either way, I'm paying close to $1,000 because the officer stopped me instead of the actual offender.

What happened:
I was driving on the Garden State Parkway, in the express lanes, on the evening before Thanksgiving. The weather conditions were very bad: There was a Nor'easter storm and my truck was swaying on the road. I had my cruise control set at 65 MPH. I was in the left lane because of occasional puddles on the right side.
Suddenly, from the rear view mirror I saw a car coming toward me at a very high speed. I tried to get to the right lane, but he was in the right lane and, realizing he didn't have time to change lanes, I swerved back to the left lane to avoid a collision. A few seconds later, I noticed a car crossing from the local lanes and then I realized it was an officer in pursuit of the speeding car.
I hesitated, because I wanted to give the officer the safest possible path to apprehend the speeding car. I put my blinker on and moved over to the right lane.
A few seconds later, I realized that the officer had mistaken me for the speeding car and he proceeded to pull my over.
I stated to the officer that I had my cruise control set at 65 MPH and that I was not speeding, but as you can see in the video, he did not give me the opportunity to speak and he issued me 3 summonses!

Driving Record: My license abstract shows no points for the last 10 years and no speeding tickets for almost 20 years.

Evidence to support my story:
• As you can see in the video, the official video shows the second car moving in front of me for a second before the police car crosses into the express lane and moves behind me. Of course my vehicle blocked the view of the speeding vehicle.
• On the video: The officer stated there were no other cards on the road.
• On the video: I tried to explain to the officer that my GPS would show my current and maximum speed.
• The E-Z Pass toll (A New Jersey thing) that I paid automatically showed that I passed the tool gate at 11:42, I was pulled over 12:00 midnight 18 miles further. This indicated that I covered 18 miles in about 18 minutes, corroborating my statement to the officer that my cruise control was set at 65 MPH or less (one mile/minute is 60 miles/hour).
• On the video: I got out of the car and made sure I knew when the officer pulled me over, because I knew the E-Z Pass data would exonerate me. Why would I care about the time I was pulled over unless I was thinking of how to prove my innocence?
• The officer caught up to me in less than 30 seconds in 4/10ths of a mile. How is that possible from almost a stop if I was traveling at 90+ MPH as he stated? As he had no radar, it is his word against mine, and my EZ-Pass toll record, and the video showind a second car.

  • As a cop I can say from experience that issuing citations is not a personal attack. Cops don't "lie" about you speeding. There are MORE than enough speeders that cops have all they can handle stopping them without making something up for NO reason whatsoever. Youtube and the internet now gives a platform to every angry weirdo who ever got a ticket.

  • @CryptoDriver-Cops *do* lie and this one did. Not that night, he was just wrong: while chasing someone that passed me, all he could see was my truck, he pulled me over by mistake. He *lied* on the stand, saying he absolutely saw my truck & my license plate from the other side. When cross examined where he was when he spotted me & how he was able to catch a truck driving at 95 mph, his story fell apart. My EZpass statement placed me 18 miles away 18 min before, averaging 65mph per my statement.

  • this driver is an absolute tool and got caught red handed and cant man up to his mistake. howd those 3 summonses taste pal

  • @socks2021 It was great when I took the cop to court and despite that he lied on the stand, the evidence was in and the judge believed in me.

  • According to the dash cam, the trooper pulled you over around 11:56, not 12:00. He probably wrote up the ticket at 12:00. So if you passed the toll at 11:42 like you said, that would mean you traveled 18 miles in 14 minutes, indicating a speed of over 77 mph. Not to mention that's after you slowed down, so you were probably going over 80 mph. Nice try tho.

  • NIce try yourself.

The video time was off by 4 minutes, according to my GPS, the time on the ticket, and the time on the video itself as read back by the station. Obviously no one checks the clock in the video recorder. The times I have are all based on the time on the ticket which exactly coincides with the time on my GPS as well. GPS doesn't lie... it calculates distance with differences of billionths of a second, it isn't off 4 minutes!

  • Just watched the video, but I'm still waiting for the part where the officer did something wrong.

  • Your first mistake was argueing witht the officer. Raising your voice to the offer doesnt help your situation either. If he writes you up a ticket thats for the court to decide if the ticket is justified. Thas why you go to court for traffic violation to argue against it. Another thing...by getting out of your vehicle your lucky you didnt get shot! One false move towards your pocket and you would not be posting videos to say the least.

  • @pfideo He is just doing his job. Do you think anyone wants to do more work then he has to especially in police case. Every time they pull someone over they put their lives on the line. Who know if someone has a gun or some other weapon or what their intentions are. Sure it doesnt happen all the time but its a risk I am sure these police do not take lightly. Now I just dont understand why he would pull you over for no reason. Risk his life just so he can make you pay up a couple bucks?

  • Why would you have your cruise control set in wet weather conditions? That was another mistake you made.

  • Cops are assholes.

  • I contested a speeding ticket because I was doing between 65 and 73kmh in a 70kmh zone. Officer claimed that she caught up to my vehicle doing 84kmh and that I was doing the same speed as she was. How can you catch up to someone 400 metres ahead if you do the same speed as them? Took the matter to court, and the judge ruled against me, even though I pointed out that there had been no evidence served (no video, or GPS evidence presented). Apparently, judges give the benefit of doubt to the cops.
