The parents of a teenager killed in a Christmas Day tiger attack at the San Francisco Zoo last year sued the city and the zoo as the first anniversary of the mauling neared. (Dec. 23)

I saw that tiger once and took a picture of it and still have it on my PC.

She was a beautiful animal.

I heard there was another accident with a cougar in the zoo history, who bit the hand of his keeper and was shot to death!

These animals are really stressed out but intelligent enough to figure they are kept prisoners, their wild instinct , especially speaking of predators, come up unpredictably so tragedy strucks.

They are fed up of idiots looking and throwing things at them like monkeys do!

Yes the fence should have been higher, but for years it was NOT a problem, that is until these young men pushed this animal over the edge.

Legally it would seem there’s an expectation of safety and for that reason "some compensation" should be paid, but their behavior was at least 99% of the problem and should weigh heavy on any judgment.

People dont realize taht tiger's can jump 25 feet in the hair so when that tiget paid it over the wall it should not have been a surprise..if they were messign with the tigetr then they were asking for it..sorry it ended as it did ...
