@ChocoboXii00 (eight) different angles which makes the noise you hear, Left or Right, Front or Behind, Upper or Lower and so on, it changes which angle you listen it from, and that, my friend, is more likely happening in real life if you pay attention at all on the sounds that comes out from an car, get it ?

In a nutshell, FM4 sounds are overboosted to sound insanely good

GT5 sounds are made to sound nearly as real as possible with current technology.

@ChocoboXii00 There is a HUGE difference between good and realistic, while you might have heard some of the NFS sounds, right ? Those sounds are insane but everyone knows these are not the sounds you would hear from the real cars, right ? Same thing goes with FM4, it has only and only 1 sound frequency, which means, it doesnt matter if you use hood cam, chase cam, bumper cam, it will sound exactly the same, only interior view has slight difference, while in GT5 there is atleast 8

@Sampyla20plus Are you joking. The sounds in GT4 were all pretty much ugly. It's all just turbo whislting and ultra high pitch engine sound even on V8s.

I tested a few cars in GT5 and they sounded just the same, only a bit better.

Sounds in Forza might not look realistic they are genuinly more enjoyable, they have much more power and they stay real.

@tikrik78 Forza has the another side of the coin, cars has sounds what we cant even hear while driving the actual car, so overboosted. GT5 has more accurate sounds, but those just arent adjusted to sound like NFS cars (where even the smallest car sounds like an WRC car, just like in Forza 4) STILL I have to admit I like those Forza 4 sounds whatsoever, these just arent realistic.

the game designers record the actual cars sound so it is no suprize that it sounds the same
