I spent a lot of time on this & you watched it for free, so PLEASE comment (Say Anything), rate (2 Thumbs Up) & subscribe. I don't get paid to do this so return the favor.

This is a review of arcade coin-operated games year-by-year: "Discs of Tron" by Bally Midway was released in 1983. The video game review footage was emulated on MAME and based off of the Walt Disney Pictures movie.

This is an alternative site for video game reviews on YouTube other than Classic Game Room - Incomcompany (CGR), The Angry Video Game Nerd (AVGN) who is also know as James the Nintendo Nerd (JNN) or Irate Gamer. There is no cussing here or 8th grade humor. BiffsGamingVideos brings you expert reviews and high quality videos.

  • ya I actually made my own controller by putting the guts of a ps2 mouse into one of those 5 in one atari retro paddles. do a google search for "mst3kpimp atari paddle tron" to see how I did it.

  • @theelusiveone which question? o.o

  • @lolag3r3r Ahhh just noticed you answered the question over here.

  • @BiffsGamingVideos I liked both of them but if I had to choose 1 I would go with the original. How about you? BTW excellent videos.

  • @mst3kpimp Thats because the arcade game used a "spinner" control which you really can not buy anywhere. I found the game plays well with a microsoft sidewinder precision pro. If you can't find one you can probably get something like a thrustmaster t flight x. You have many choices with those controllers of where to map the spinner. Good luck.

  • @BiffsGamingVideos thats exactly what I did... I cant put the url here but google "tron-sector homemade tron spinner" to check it out.

  • Say anything? Alright.

    Toasters are cool.

  • HEY! What's your score of the game? :P

I give it an A-. Fun game, never saw the standup version. It was always the environmental one!

I hadn't ever seen one with a curtain on it though. Might've just been something a local arcade owner did that you saw back in the day. Neat!
