@MUDSHARK111 only when "lost in space" is drunk.

also, check out who produced Bonnie Tyler's album, Desmond Child, which further shows that he could have had some involvement in the creation of the song, which would give him pull to have her perform the song
i doubt that Knight was the main songwriter since there is so much evidence linking the three together: Child worked with Stanley/Knight....Knight/Stanl
ey both managed by Bill Aucoin...and sources explaining the collaboration -
According to Kiss Box Set: The song was proposed for Crazy Nights and was written by Stanley and Knight and was called "Bite Down Hard." Child was brought in to fine tune the song, which became "Hide Your Heart." The song was given to Tyler by Child since it was rejected by Ron Nevison for the Crazy Nights album. Kiss played the song live, received positive reaction, and added the song to their newest album, Hot in the Shade...all sources show that Knight/Stanley/Child contributed equally

What I have heard from magazines and other sources was that Stanley and Child wrote the song with Knight, and they gave it to Bonnie Tyler..Wikipedia: Hide Your Heart was originally meant to be a Kiss song featured on the 1987 album Crazy Nights, but it was rejected.Stanley offered the song to other artists.Stanley performed the song and received positive reaction from fans to include the song on next Kiss album.I know wikipedia is not always right, but I have read this elsewhere

@amigotole Well, I didn't say JBJ is better than Paul, but Paul's way of singin' this song ain't kickin' it the same way Ace sing it!
And yeah, you're right. I messed up, Hide Your Heart is from Hot in the Shade!
Album:Hot In The Shade (1989)
but Ace Frehley's version is from Trouble walkin album (1989)
