I have just became interested in biology, discovering how cells work and the beautiful complexity behind them is so awe-inspiring to me. But i am also a novice, not even undergrad. I looked up covalent bonds to know what those stem things were in structure charts. The behavior of the electrons in this video is pretty interesting also.

i didnt realise ions could bode (see the last word of your sentence lol) and that is pretty much rite accept hydrodgens can form hydrodgen bonds) there are also polar bonds and your synopsis isnt great, metals and metals form metalic bonds, non metals and metals form ionic bonds and non metals and non metals form covalent bonds, for instance water. hope it helps :)
