  • Love the video. Local 96, Millwright for life...

    Portland OR.

  • @jennyryel Thanks, very much appreciated, and really glad you enjoyed it

  • Nice video.I was wondering ,I have a strong interest in becoming a millwright.I do have some welding background from school. I know the industry can be feast or famine as they say . Are you guys real busy these days or is the economy affecting you guys just like the other trades in NY?I spoke to a member awhile back on a job at LGA airport as they were replacing the baggage belt and he said they were busy ,has things changed since. And if you could give me the pro and con's .Thanks.

  • @SparkWater Just Sent you a message, but busy is a relative thing, in NY, we traditonally have ups and downs, but not to the extreme's a lot of other trades seem to have in the same region.

Diversity keeps us going, and in my opinion, is one of our strongest traits.

We also have a strong membership, not big, but more like a family bond.

  • Very good! From local 22 northern canada!

  • @meo600 Hope you guys stay busy up there, things are changing pretty quick down here.

And i'm happy that you got to see it, its for all of us.
