@AndrewOfHorror I did more reserch on different sites and my aunt once met Don Mancini.And i dont really care what ever chucky was based off of or not the point is the movie was great :) So yes, you may be right and i may be right but i really dont want to start a fight, do you?

@srcbgirls I don't set store by something that anybody can edit. The citation says that some random kiosk man said that Child's Play was based off Robert, and that is in NO way a reliable source. The writer of the film, who knows more about it than some random person, said it was inspired by a Twilight Zone episode and by how marketing affected kids in the '80s.
If your research involves Wikipedia, it can't be trusted. That site once had a summary for Child's Play 6; a movie that doesn't exist.

@AndrewOfHorror Nope, if you look up robert the doll on wikipedia, it says that child's play was based off of robert. I did some reserch and it's true. Look it up more.

@srcbgirls Chucky isn't based off Robert. The writer, Don Mancini, was pretty clear with his inspirations, and that wasn't one of them.
