The 3rd segment shows us Nara -- the Todai-ji Temple (the largest wooden structure in the world), the magnificent Kasuga Grand Shrine, and the tame deer that roam freely through Nara Park. Next is Osaka, both the old -- a maskmaker and a performer at a Noh theater -- and the new -- the dazzling lights and sounds of a pachinko parlor and the bustling streets of the riverside Dotonbori district.
