Chimpanzees have social codes. They need these, as do we, in order to live in a society. Humans are more sophisticated so our social rules are more complex but basically they are the same with the same end in mind , social harmony. Yet surprisingly there is NO Chimpanzee Bible telling them what to do and what not to do. We dont need a God to structure an hormonious society.

@Blackdoofy He hated both Christianity and Judaism, but loved radical Islam (not the lovey-dovey Islam) and atheism. Those Crusader and Islamic forces killed thousands. Hitler, Stalin and Mao, all three antireligious, all three killed millions.

People tend to get hung up on words, so they say 'Chair' and think that that object over there is a chair, independent of themselves. Thus with 'G_d' as well.

Rabbi Shmuley's arguments point towards, no matter what we call ourselves, 'atheist' or 'agnostic' or 'Hindu' or 'Scientologist', there is never a belief where we can stop taking responsibility for the meaning and purpose that we create and our own actions. That this whole 'G_d' concept is just people recognizing that we all are interconnected, that life is better if we are mindful of how we operate and how the world operates, to agape one another, and to hold this to be True, no matter what.

@ketrel815 No he didn't, he said that the delivery was in the style of Hitler i.e. emotional, loud and lacking content. A sentiment I echo, in rational debate that sort of debate style is not allowed, and that is the debating culture Richard is from.
As for the second point I don't know about that.
