Using the iPhone with one handed left hand operation is difficult as Apple decided to violate Telecommunications act section 255.

There are workaround but this is not as easy as it seems. I could not wear my prosthetic arm and that would solve the problem. My dog eared end of the arm works surprisingly well for this.

For two handed operations, a stationary thumb grab plus stump swipe do the trick.

  • @mikenicee ~ oops i just saw that your product really is very shallow and small sized. great stuff. going to order one.

  • try FlyGrip.com

  • @mikenicee thanks!! i found a solution now - meantime everyone knows i cannot usually pick up the phone in time so i call them back. so in fact, all that apple owes me are some ~ 65 chf total for calling back or so. we'll get around to that. secondly i use a "razer battlefield" rubber iphone case and that helps because the phone really isn't very friendly to everyday challenges.

  • @swisswuff

I'd love for you to try the FlyGrip product. If you email me at info@flygrip.com with your address, I will ship one to you for your iphone at no charge. You will be able to answer those calls in first try (that is if you really want to) and work the phone entirely without missing a beat. I'd love to hear your thoughts about the product. Please let me

  • @mikenicee deeply appreciated offer, thanks - however i am *really* a one handed person and so *all* my stuff is jammed in the left pocket of my jeans. *all*. usually i have keys, car key, cell phone and some cash there. that fills it up right to the bus station, if the cell phone gets some additional volume the pocket will explode.

  • @mikenicee given that i can't get the calls at first try anyway that is actually why i gave up completely and started to leave the cell phone somewhere - car, at home, etc. as when my two left pockets (rear ~ wallet, front ~ as described) get too full the phone is not a priority any more - so, there's no point in rushing. as i said - folks now know and don't expect different. in a way the apple attitude has taught me also attitude. you can't call me urgently, simple as that.
