IC-10: Rome City Course 2-Lap Challenge

This is an example of how to achieve gold on this license test - recorded live. Played with a regular sixaxis controller and recorded with an HDPVR.

Tips:
This car is extremely difficult to drive. It's tires are too small for the amount of power it has and the speed it carries into the corners so it handles like a greased pig!

The best tip I can give for this one is to respect the car. Be very gentle on the steering inputs, especially under braking. Even the slightest turn of the wheel under braking will send the car off into the wall.

As for the track itself, there are a couple of the key parts like the first winding set of corners to the right and the heavy braking zone at the end of the next big straight - these sections were in previous tests so you should be familiar with them.

The trickiest part of the track is the set of lefts and rights at the end of each lap. These are extremely hard to go fast through due to the instability of the car so just take them easy. Even taking your time through them is generally as fast or faster than the opponents navigate them.

Slipstream as much as possible as there are a few cars in the pack that will blow your doors off on the straights.

Be careful entering corners behind other cars as they brake early. If you hit them too hard you'll be disqualified. This also applies to hitting walls - you can lightly hit them but hit them too hard and you get disqualified.

@thicvbr Keep trying! This one is all about brute force and ignorance! The more you play it the more you get to know the track and the patterns of the AI drivers. Gradually you'll get it.

amazing game and amazing car! I' ve tried all afternoon to arrive 1st.. but i could just arrive 2nd.. i will keep trying and trying... I want more licenses! gt mode is too easy, instead license (get gold) makes me sweat!

Why third caamera perspective??? Why does all videos of GT5 has this camera. Atleast Hood camera or Cockpit would be cool for a change...

That was the last Gold that I got for the Licences.... Found it to be the hardest.
