  • Ok Hitler has nothing to do with this "Whew!" clip. Randy Amasia was an average contestant who went up there, played the game and won over $26,000 for his college tuition. Unless you know him like that, you need to give a good reason on why Randy is a prick. Also, on Hitler, that dude killed anyone and everyone just cause he wanted to; FOR FUN! The problem got settled a long time ago and is something that we've learned in history books. So, in fairness, Hitler got what he deserved.

  • now if you dont get how the show goes, thats cool, but talking about a guy who is no longer living, thats sad yo. that's disrespectful!

  • This was a great show. A shame Randy never got to have his big win on tape.

  • i agree. his big win was found on tape finally after Randy advertized it on his website for a long time. Unfortuantally they couldn't find a VCR in time just b4 his death. Sad story, but his memory and big episode lives on, on youtube!

  • From what I understand, the search for the tape intenseified when we learned Randy was on his deathbed. Randy died on Dec. 12, Approx. eight house after his death I think is when someone finally found the tape. But, I may have the events reversed, the tape was found and he died eight hours later. Either way, I wasn't a big fan of Randy, but I honestly wish he had got to see the tape before he died.

  • my god, you must be a jerk. He just was really excited (you do know $25,000 back then was a lot of money to win from a game show?)

  • I'm sure there's a great reason to do your own editorializing and graphics over a perfectly good video. Unfortunately, I don't have a damn clue as to what that reason is.

  • @secondchance1977 Absolutely wrong.

  • Just before Pat started her charging, I liked the game face that Randy had there. With the way he was using his hands, he looked like a t-rex.

  • is the airdates known? sorry if that's a stupid question...

  • If this show is revived, I suggest we call the show "Gauntlet" because "Whew" is unpronouncable.

  • when i had half days or days off from school (7th grade) i DID NOT miss this show!! I loved it!! Oh, U "millinium kids" U missed the all those great daytime games shows: Hollwood Squares, Gong Show, Match Game, Split Second, Now U see it.

  • if this show moved a lil quicker on top of it not succumbing to a celebrity version it might have lasted longer

  • That was one reason. Later on, in like syndication, they need permission from the tape holder, who in this case, is Sugarman.

  • No. It's because of those little films they showed. They only had the rights to show them once.

  • Sugarman is also the reason why Hitman dosnt air.
