Well, I have met many people with dogs that can do that, so long as they're big enough, they should learn it from my experiences of them.. But yeah, maybe the dogs you have come across aren't so 'smart'?

She learned it herself because we would leave her inside when we played basketball outside, so she picked it up because she wanted to join us outside. :-)
