  • One time my trail crew had to put out a small fire started by another crew's brushcutter. When CDF came up to double check our scratch line, i suggested they bring bladder pumps to get down into the rocky crevices. Worked great and prevented having to run mop up line several hundred yards uphill!

  • What a cool old video. I love to see this type of stuff. Here on the east coast at least in Pa. we still get to use back pack pumps frequently in remote areas where we cannot get engines. An experienced firefighter with a properly maintained tank can take on a fair amount of fire.

  • good thing for bladder bags in place of those old cans

  • Nice Old Video
