Anathallo - Norhtern Lights (New Song, at Schubas 4-21-07)

The fellas (and Erica!) playing a brand new one at the Schubas (Chicago, IL) show the other week. Matt said that the lyrics themselves were about 10 years old, but the melody, was a more recent, collaborative effort. I'm pretty sure this was the first time that it was ever played. Definitely a bit more toned down than the typical, but listen to it a couple of times and you'll see how amazingly beautiful it is. I can't get enough of it.

It was a really great show. Originally, a string quartet was going to open, and perhaps accompany some, but it fell through (sadness). Instead, the Scotland Yard Gospel Choir opened. The other new song played, should be upped shortly. Oh and I FINALLY resolved the audio/video out of sync stresses, which is good news for all. Unfortunately, it would only capture 3 minutes, but the song ended about 15 seconds after. Enjoy!
