There you are! You're wrong.
-
Still it needs Some to apper
-
@psdown2go -what about absolute zero?
-
@psdown2go Yeah, it's called heat.
-
That is Impossible Everything Requires ENERGY. I mean Everything!

what a dumbarse

Yeah, Blender's scripting is a lot harder to use. There's probably a way to Python-script motion, but I have no idea where I'd do that.
Maybe I'll pick up POV-ray again. It was a little better for mechanical animation, since it was all mathematical. You didn't have to do any graphical editing or any crazy workarounds to fix animation glitches. You just said, "Make that thing spin around, and make that move up and down" and it worked.

Yes its like that in Maya too, only you have several ways to make those curves. Its also possible to make script controlled curves and paths, but that becomes too complicated for me ;D I like doing it in 3D, but then again I'm not a real film animator, so I guess Maya is easier for newbies, I might be wrong though.

The problem I've had with Blender is that the animation is controlled by curves. They really need a way to use something like scripting to set up mathematically-based animation, like in POV-ray.
But other than that, it's a good program.

Really....?
I have used Maya most of the time, but I recently installed Blender because I use Ubuntu now.
I haven't used it so much yet, but I want to to try of course.
But I can assure you, animation in Maya is really high quality, you wouldn't believe the amount of control you have...

Blender.

I can tell from some of the pixels.
-
Yep.
-
Nice to watch this stirling engine porno.
-
ahahhaha youre right!!
-
Wrong direction.
-
pretty good animation, but .........
there is something terribly wrong. can You find out?
-
Hey which program is better for creating dynamic simulations, Maya or 3D Studio Max?
-
that looks real
-
pretty good animation
-
How much of it is physics simulation?
-
nice work, what program did you use?
3D studio max 9 + Vray 1.5
