I don't think people are short of a venue to visit, the music just evokes such strong memories of, obviously, very special times for most people. Here's to the present and making new memories.
Who knows, we could be looking back in a few year, time thinking the same!

What makes me rather discouraged on the verge of anger is that I hear so many babyboomers complain that they are bored and at the same time like to go back to the old days -- well stop complaining, everyone put their resources together, rent even a high school gym, rent a dj who has the equipment, bring your records, and you have that. But I swear people these days don't have vision and need to be led.

I can say with hand on heart, it's one of the happiest places to spend a Northern Soul Evening and we are so lucky to have the support of really friendly soulies. We are proud that they choose to KTF with us.

One thing I take from these pictures, is that everyone here is truly happy. There's no faking that. Even if these couples are miserable, they weren't that night.

Yes it does still go on in the form of local clubs each weekend, right across the country. All-nighters. Weekenders. Soul in the sun holidays abroad and soul cruises in the med.
Birchley has just celebrated 4 years and will be opening it's doors again this Friday to listen and dance to those fantastic tunes.
