The Super Nintendo on the other hand, holy jesus BEST NINTENDO CONSOLE OF ALL TIME hands down as far as the plethora of RPGs and variety available from 3rd parties, but mostly the RPGs. It was THE system for RPGs. Sadly a lot of really fantastic Japanese games went untranslated until well over 2 decades later when translation fan groups dumped ROMs and made patches for em so we can finally enjoy them (alongside the real FF2 and FF3 games).

The N64 games to have?
Starfox 64, Goldeneye 64, Super Mario 64, Super Mario Kart 64, Zelda 64: Ocarina of Time, Zelda 64: Majora's Mask, and the Banjo-Kazooie titles (2 or 3 games, I remember at least 2).
Of course I didn't pay for my N64 or my (newly gifted) old-style PS2, just got the games for them (used) so yeah :)
Limited, but the games you did get (above) were OH SO FUN.
Even the NES has maybe 15 games at most you *had* to have, rest were junk.

I appreciate the response and the lack of going 'all defensive' like many others might tend to do, that shows great maturity on your part and I do respect that.
My suggestion would be perhaps instead of calling these 'reviews' just perhaps 'blurbs' or 'thoughts on X game' or w/e. The term 'review' is defined as "a formal assessment, examination, or evaluation of a definite or indefinite product". Just sayin :)

This game was the reason I eventually got an n64. It never gets old and you'll be playing awhile if you want that perfect medal run on the hard path.

Why does everybody hate the dialogue so much? It's fucking hilarious!

I want to get drunk with ya so much you rock.
While I enjoy your cutesie-pooh review style, it really is short. No gameplay footage, no going over anything about the story, gameplay, mechanics, or anything to suggest that you actually have any working knowledge of game design (aka you know your stuff).
You do what you do, I'll try to find a reviewer that actually has more substance to offer...

@jcdenton2k I hear what your saying. Love/Hate reviews aren't even reviews, I just can't think of what else to call them. Really they are just what I think of the game. What I love. What I hate. No frills, no tech jargon. Just a person with a camera, talking about a video game in a vlog.
It's not for everybody, I'm ok with that. Thanks for being constructive and nice about it.
I recommend ZeitgeistReview, his reviews are thorough and fun. For retro reviews check out Gamester81.

What I remember about the Nintendo era was showing up at a friends house, with all of them playing, some random cutie hanging out for the free beers / cigarettes / "etc" and that would be my queue to rescue her from the boredom.
Great review, love the style, but games only got good with the introduction of the playstation. Everything Nintendo was doing had already been done years earlier - by the Commodore 64 (:

@A1R5N1P3R Back in the day of the N64 I was a little young for b33r ^_^. I really have to disagree with your assessment of the N64's worth in comparison to the Playstation. There were plenty of titles for both consoles but neither really had the upper hand. Nintendo 64 brought us Super Mario 64 and Zelda games, Commodore 64 didn't have all that jazz.
