Our faith is not about choosing between heaven and hell, but about loving God, recognizing our need for a Saviour and making Christ our Lord. Heaven just happens to be a positive side effect of our faith..

God's fear was not that that we would become like him in the sense that we could create like he does, but that we would choose something besides him and introduce sin into the world the consequences of that.
