Miguel Cabrera will always be remembered for homering against the juiced up Rocket, the very first time he ever faced him; the pitching sequence included chin music and all, but the 20 year old Cabrera seemed unfazed by it all, notwithstanding the tense atmosphere that comes with every World Series scenario. After watching him belt the opposite field dinger off one of the toughest pitchers baseball has ever seen I went on to predict that one day he would be a Hall of Fame inductee.

My favorite players on that team Miguel and lee. We were the best team that year hands down.

i miss these days i was 6-7 yrs old when this happend now im a huge marlins fan with my favorite player being miguel cabrera and i miss them all best infield best pitchers best hitting and outfield but really looking at it i miss all the classic people mike lowell juan pierre castillio alex gonzalez THE D-TRAIN JOSH BECKETT BRAD PENNEY PUDGE RODRIGUEZ JUAN ENCARCION :( BUT JACK IS BACK SO ITS ALL GOOD teehee i look and there is no one still on the team from 2003 but jack will be missed forever

Looking back, that 03' Marlins team was loaded, that was one of the best defensive infields ever.
