Yes, this is simpler than the Emotiv Epoc, however it doesn't just pick up any brain activity... it senses "relaxation" and "Concentration" (Beta waves & maybe Alpha), as well as eye-blinks with just 1 dry sensor for about $100 less (or $200 less for the Mindwave). The Emotive Epoc uses 14 wet sensors with software to interpret 4 "emotions" (2-4 different brainwaves), 13 conscious thought commands, facial expressions, & 2 gyros for head movements.

  • Emotiv users know that this would be impressive IF you didn't have to choose which action to perform. Now the sensor basically just picks up any brain activity it can find and then does something on the screen.

  • The idea for the arrows and to use mind control in humanoid robotics (Honda did copy my idea for Asimo) , or to move the cursor of the mouse in the computer were mine... now watch this... if you use the squared screen with augmented reality in your cell phone or eye glasses... then you will be able to do more... I have even more ideas to implement... but this is for later... you can watch my website with the most complete Humanoid Robot list in the World in the mean time...
