This video is presented by Home School Legal Defense Association, advocates for homeschooling since 1983, www.hslda.org.
In Part 3 of this series, HSLDA's Toddlers to Tweens Consultant Vicki Bentley gives tips for homeschooling your preschooler. Children learn through their playtime. Provide your child with stimulating, age-appropriate developmental toys. Everyday activities are helpful for your child's brain and skill development. Things like completing puzzles, helping put away toys, and setting the table help develop classification and organization skills, which are basic science, math, and language arts skills. To help with language development, work with your child on alphabet puzzles, write notes to Grandma, or cuddle up and read a book aloud together. Look for guides to help plan more structured learning times based around the interests of your child.

@drcox47 Homeschooling people do have areas they meet together at. Do not assume things.

Ironic that every clip they show here is a preschooler in a daycare/institutional setting rather than at home.... :P
