not!!!! my dog gave birth to 4 puppies en is alive and well. It's just a c-section. After that she woke up and was fine

They all died, we tried very hard but it didn't help.

1 we had to put to sleep because he had an cleft palate. 1 was born dead. 1 was very little, he made it just for 1 day.

the last one we kept alive for 9 days, but he wouldn't crow. he died 9 days later.

we where very hurt by this, and we wil never try to get other puppies.

Just out of curiousity why did you dog get a C section? (this isnt to be rude I'm just wondering)

most french bulldogs are to narow to give natural birth. To aviod complications and to protect our dog, we dicided to do a c-section.

I believe this to be a huge gamble with your dog's life. Any brachycephalic breed should be intubated while under anesthesia. The tube should not be removed until they are up and breathing and practically chewing on the tube to get it out. They have very small airways and with the pushed-in snouts, have a lot more palate to block the airway. In my opinion, it is very irresponsible of the vet to even consider not intubating.

The reason they dies was because that dumb fuck doctor left them to long in the sac! Think about it? What happens if you have your head in a sac and there is no oxygen? ?????? To long if you look or have experience with whelping you will see that the female dog will normally bite and rip the sac once they are out there is no oxygen so you immediately have to break it to let them breath!

It's just a way for vets to make money. If they can't breed and give birth naturally the breed should be allowed to die out. This is cruel/
