does it get cold down there or do they supply heating? All our stations are outdoors and they provide substandard small heating units that don't do crap....

I have travelled at any time you can imagine. Rush hour, visiting around, night party, commute to the airport at dfferent times... And never I have felt uneasy!

Not at all!
I found it to be a very safe place.
Obviously, you have to mind your belongings and be alert of any suspicious person. That's all.
