Hmmm - is that MGA playing? I thought so but I may be wrong - these old eyes aren't what they used to be. Excuse the mistake if so! Whomever, it's beautifully played and I really enjoy the accompaniment! Thanks for posting!
I believe it's called an "Anazazi" flute by Michael Graham Allen (the flutemaker, who's playing it). It's one little toughie to play, but the sound is gorgeous once you get it. You can check it out on the Coyote Oldman website.
fixyerax is right, tho;, it looks a lot like a shakuhachi, and plays a lot like one too, but this is made of turned wood and a shakuhachi is (traditionally) bamboo. If you look closely you'll also see it's missing the traitional shakihachi cord wrapping.
Yes, it is a Native American flute. It is based of flutes found at Cave Creek, dated to 1500 years ago. It is the oldest known flute in North America. It is not anyting like a shakuhachi in it's scale.
Sounds great. Please advise where I can get one of the xylophones the other is playing.

Is Shakuhachi created similar to an Anasazi?

while it looks like a xylaphone it is really a Freenote Bass Octave Wing made by Richard Cooke of Colorado.
