A time-lapse of a flight from Newark, NJ to Phoenix, AZ aboard a Continental Boeing 737-900. Their respective international airports are Newark Liberty (EWR / KEWR) and Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX / KPHX). The video shows approximately four hours of flight, most of the trip. The map in the top-left is a rough approximation of the aircraft's location relative to the United States. The footage is sped up to over 100 mach, even greater than the speed of current spacecraft.
The video consists of 434 photos taken during the duration of the 'lapse ran at 6 frames per second. The time between most photos was 30 seconds. I've stopped recording for some minutes because the aircraft was flying over white skies. The time-lapse was shot with a Nikon Coolpix S220 and the credit pictures were shot with a Canon Powershot S90.
