Many Are the Times (1966), written and performed by Lee Mallory (1945-2005), and produced and arranged by Curt Boettcher (d. 1987), is the B-side of an outstanding and pioneering psychedelic single of the sunshine pop genre. The A-side is That's the Way it's Gonna Be, which is not allowed on You Tube.
Many Are the Times is also the title track for his more-recent CD, which includes many older songs and two great new ones. Info here:

A live version was also released on vol.II of Live at the Hotel Utah by Last Stop Records. Note that the version posted here is the original studio version, from the CD entitled Many Are the Times.

That's the Way it's Gonna Be was my most-played single of all time, and both sides are high on my Top 400 favorites list:

Lee and Curt went on to form the supergroup The Millennium, which released "Begin" in 1968.
Many Are the Times is a mystical and hypnotic romantic ballad featuring tingly electric guitar and otherworldly harmonic vocals arranged by Curt.
The CD aptly describes That's the Way its Gonna Be as a folk song that morphed into a sinister electric jam with backwards tape effects and amazing vocal harmonies by Curt and his company Our Productions, which had many artists in common with those heard in the hits by The Association. Both tracks are vividly-evocative of the sixties and its creative cultures in California.
Pictures are from my collection, and from photobucket, google and flickr.
