Here we discuss variations of the basic rolling and flying breakfall, or zempo kaiten/tobi ukemi: first, a side version (yoko kaiten/tobi ukemi), then a rear corner version (sumi kaiten/tobi ukemi) and finally an opposite hand, opposite foot version (guruma ukemi). We demonstrate first how to practice each on your own, then with a partner (usually on a crash pad), and then give an example or two of where each fall applies in aikido and judo.
