"In weed we trust"

Can any Cannabis lobby hope to compete against big pharma? My opinion is that our laws would be correct if they made people accountable for taking natural plants, and manipulating them into things like Cannabinol, Crack, and Meth. I believe that it's human arrogance to think that we should take what God gives us, and manipulate it into these unnatural chemically altered abominations!Instead of legalization, we need to unmake some bad laws, and stop big pharma/F.D.A. from perverting nature!1NESS!

What you don't seem to understand is, even if something is bad for people, that doesn't make it right for the federal government to force people not to do it. One of the biggest problems in our society is the idea that the federal government is supposed to be like some kind of parental figure, and save us from our selves. Laws are supposed to punish the guilty, and set reasonable limits. Not wipe everyones asses for them! Give me the chance to be responsible for myself, and make my own choice.

If pot was legalized, maybe we wouldn't see deaths, but would we see a lot of cronic smokers walking around brain fucked, and jobless because they've developed metal illness? This is the only problem for pot. There is no doubt pot will create some form of difference mentally, but is it enough to worry about? Will there be a statistic, for, e.g. 1 in every 60 users develop mental illness...?

Weed has one enemy if it ever will be legalized, and that's mental effects. Pot might not kill from cancer, might not be that addictive, but I have still never seen evidence that it doesn't effect the brain that much. After all, this is a drug, there's always negative aspects but is it possible for me to have a few cones, and come down with bi-pola like mental issues? If I use pot often for a year, could I end up slow mentally, weird and different personality changes/patterns, etc.

More importantly, I've kind of started using marijuana, but I don't like the idea of it causing brain damage/pscizophrenia/metal illness. I saw an add just before this and it showed young people (apparently under pot influence) sitting there, brain dead, and that young person's friends standing to the side talking about how they've changed, they have no personality anymore. I've seen the documentry "The Union" and it didn't cover much on brain damage, and effects mentally...

I strongly suggest other methods of consumption to smoking, but even if you're smoking you should be fine.
Too much Alcohol = Cirrhosis of the Liver
Too much Cigs = Cancer in lungs and/or mouth
Too much weed = Munchies and power nap
Media propaganda = Division and Millions of ignorant uninformed citizens.
...Unity is key
Had to get some stuff off my chest.
Lmk if u feel me.

There is going to be a vote in D.C. on the legalization of pot at the federal level. If you want to show your suport go to norml(.)org and click on take action then click on what can I do, then click on contact repersentatives. From there you can send a prewriten E-mail or print out a leter to send to your state repersentatives in suport of marijuana legalization. All you have to do is fill in some info. Together we can make a difference. Let your voice be heard!
