I'm not entirely sue what to say. This is both exceedingly awesome and yet seemingly stupid and pointless. Were the regular street lights all that bad? You had to install rotating barrier street light thingies? Seriously? WTF...

@aramilalpha : i believe they did it more for security so they can control possible terrorism in the financial district. I could be wrong but thats my best guess.
