Sam and I at The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Texas Sheepdog Association Trial February 2010. This was our first trial together and Sam's first arena trial. It took me the first three runs to figure out what I was doing, but on our fourth and final run, we finally clicked and had a wonderful run. We ended up 7th out of 15 dogs...not bad for our first trial together. I am looking forward to more trials and getting more confident and moving up the levels. I'd like to thank Mike and Stephanie Goracke for selling her to me and I'd like to thank Kent and Lori Herbel of XP Ranch for working with me over the last couple of years to help me become a better handler.
