I'd like to be optomistic, and it is good he's black, no doubt. However I have no reason to believe he will do anything to change the suicidal status quo of corporatism and militarism or anything besides token, surface level changes. What will he change?

If President-elect Obama did nothing else from this day forward he has made change. But this is only the beginning. Don't be fooled by the familiar faces now Obama's in charged he'll be calling the shots. It's good to have experienced people to carry out his theme.

Hes picking SO MANY new, fresh faces weve never heard of before for his cabinet! Im so glad I bought into all of this marketing I heard about change on the TV. Larry Summers, Rahm Emanuel, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, THIS is what CHANGE looks like! These people really have our best interests at heart I'm sure.
