This take by Bird on his own song is like a concerto or symphony compared to the Scrapple I thought was so inventive I'd thought I'd post. Stunning find as usual Jck. When a wise-ass kid, I shouted out to Stan Kenton, Scrapple from the apple, and he gave me the most hateful look any musician has ever laid on me. Shocked I immediately remembered Bird passed away just prior to a gig slated with Stan's Orchestra and Bird a few days later in Texas. Felt half inch tall.
