This song is about never giving up on the love of your life. It was written in Georgia while visiting my old friend of 20 years, Mr. Drew Foskey. I have personally been married for 17 years and Drew has been married for 18 years. We know a lot about overcoming. lol Relationships have many ups and downs but what makes it all worth it... is to know that you have someone that you can trust and that will always have your back and you theirs. Sure relationships are tested and many fail, but the ones that are committed to not using the D word (divorce) as an option... generally make it. Do not give up easily... unless the partner has done something very bad...then you must forgive and move on.
